Oat Flour Pie Crust
Makes (1) 9” pie crust. For a top and bottom, double the recipe and divide into two dough balls.
You’ll need …
1 1/2 c oat flour
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 Tbsp cold butter, cubed
4 Tbsp cold water + more as needed
What to do …
Gently mix the oat flour and sea salt together.
Add the cold butter and water. Using a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the mixture until all crumbly. If the dough is too crumbly slowly add more water.
Spill the mixture onto waxed paper. With another piece of wax paper, form the dough into a ball.
Roll out in a circle until about 1/8 thickness. This crust will fit a 9” pie dish.
If needing to blind bake, poke holes in the bottom with a fork and bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes.
