Avocado Chocolate Mousse
Everyone needs their go-to decadent chocolate fix. Let this chocolate mousse be it!

It’s Sunday, and I’m already exhausted. It’s been a long week undergoing the latest lesson of parenting … potty training. If you’re a parent of a todddler reading this post. You get what I mean. You envision what your life will look like a week from now. So, can it please be Friday already and my kid will magically be telling me when he has to pee.
I need a stiff drink and some decadent chocolate. But it’s only Sunday and I’m already drained.
Fortunately, I whipped us a totally satisfying, indulgent, but good for you chocolate mousse. Believe it!
Avocados are meant for so much more than guacamole. Although, I’ll take guac any day of the week!
The base of this mousse is avocado, blended together with coconut milk, honey and cacao powder, it’s a truly simply and perfect dessert.
This recipe is a smaller portion because truly a couple it’s will be totally satisfying. Lemme know what you think!
You’ll need …
1 avocado
1/4 c canned coconut milk (simple, with no added gums or preservatives)
2 Tbsp cacao powder
3 Tbsp honey, plus more of you like sweeter
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
dash of cinnamon
What to do …
If your coconut milk is separated in the can, place the contents of the can in a small sauce pan. Allow to warm and stir constantly until milk is well combine.
Add all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds - 1 minute
Taste, and add any additional honey if desired.
Place in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
