Roasted Strawberries

Ready for the easiest, seasonal strawberry recipe ever?

I prefer roasting my veggies over any other way to prepare them, so I figured I’d give fruit a try this summer. And boy there’s no regrets here. The sweetness and richness has met a whole new level and is better than simply reducing on the stove. Not to mention, quicker, easier and less ingredients.

ps. Whatever you do, do not toss the juices out!

You’ll need …

  • 2 cups or more of sliced strawberries

  • 2 Tbsp honey

  • splash of vanilla extract

What to do …

  1. Preheat oven to 375* and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Toss strawberries with honey and vanilla, spread evenly on baking sheet.

  3. Cook for 25-30 mins. Allow to cool and save in the fridge or top a delicious biscuit hot!
