Easiest Tomato Soup
Nutrient dense, collagen rich, 3 ingredient tomato soup for when you’re really craving the comfies.
I found this recipe from Lily Nichols, a registered dietician and advocate for “real food.”
Lily talks a lot about the benefits of homemade bone broth. It aids gut healing and inflammation, packed with micronutrients and natural collagen. I try to incorporate it when I’m making anything that requires liquids (savory oats, rice, soup, steamed veggies, etc). 
Back to this soup, though! All you need is 3 ingredients …
You’ll need …
- jar of tomato sauce (I like Rao’s marinara) 
- 1-2 c of broth 
- 2 Tbsp butter or cream (more for thicker consistency) 
- I also added a little crushed red pepper 
What to do …
- In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients together. Add extra spices to your liking. 
- Serve hot … and maybe with a grilled cheese side.
